Aryna Sabalenka

The place where Sabalenka was born was Minsk in Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998 in Minsk Belarus. She has 12 WTA titles to her name in her career, which includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another area where she excels. In the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021, US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. Then she also won the Sunshine Double in 2019, taking the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open along with Elise and Mertens. Only four women's pairs had achieved this feat. The singles world ranking climbed again to its highest position in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel herself up to first place at the beginning of February that year after the victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player from Belarus to be a part of this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until her season came to an end in the year 2019. He also coached her briefly at the start of 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since at the beginning of 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova are her greatest idols.
